Mode 5 - Beverage Mode

This mode is designed to measure the coffee-to-beverage ratio. It is one of the most

consistent methods for measuring pour over extraction. With this mode, you will be able

to see the time elapsed for the brew, total amount of water added, beverage weight in

the carafe, and the coffee-to-beverage ratio at the end of the brew.

The Pearl will display the brew summary as the example below:

Step 1. Place the cup/carafe on the scale.

Press and hold

Step 2. Place the filter/ dripper on the cup.

Press and hold

Step 3. Put the coffee in the filter.

Press and hold

Step 4. Start pouring water and the timer will start automatically.

Tap

when finished.

Step 5. Remove the filter/ dripper from the cup.

Beverage Weight 200.0 g

to proceed to the next step.
