(b) Install the hose outlet fitting nozzle or control head (not supplied).

Note: To insure that no foreign matter has entered the hose, the product should be flushed through the system

before attaching the outlet nozzle or control head.

LUBRICATION:

Not required.

MAINTENANCE: Consists of:

(a) Periodic inspection of hose for wear and abuse.

(b) Periodic inspection of swivel for possible leakage from wear or damage from foreign matter in

product.

HOSE REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE:

(a) Facing swivel, turn the hose drum clockwise until all of the hose is removed from the drum and the

drum is held by locking mechanism.

USE EXTREME CAUTION - MAKE SURE SPRING IS LOCKED

(b) Remove hose clamps and disconnect hose from swivel. Remove old hose.

CAUTION: SPRING GUARD OVER HOSE MUST BE USED TO PROTECT THE HOSE FROM

BEING CUT BY THE DRUM

(d) Remove ball stop from old hose and install on replacement hose.

(e) Carefully, keeping the tension on the hose, pull the hose to release the locking mechanism. Let the

hose wind on the drum.

REPAIRS:

Extensive repairs should be performed only by an authorized serviceman or factory to avoid damage

which may void your warranty.

CAUTION: ALWAYS REMOVE SPRING TENSION BEFORE BEGINNING ANY DISASSEMBLY.

DON'T - Allow reel to recoil without restraining recoil speed.

DON'T - Exceed unwind capacity. It is suggested that a minimum of two wraps of hose remain on the reel

when fully extended.

DON'T - Over pre-load reel spring motor. This is sometimes attempted to accommodate the additional weight

of tools.

DON'T - Attempt to service the spring motor. The easily accessible spring motor is serviced as a unit.

DO -

Keep the reel clean and free of dirt accumulation. Permanent lubrication of reel may be affected by

such accumulation.
