Flow Control (Throttling) Function
The valve can be set to function as a Flow Control Valve in the normal flow direction as in Figure 3 or
as a Flow Control Valve in the reverse direction as in Figure 4. This is attainable by positioning the
wormwheel in the desired position as in Figure 3, the disc is free to move from set position to fully
closed, therefore still able to perform as a check valve. However, when set to function as a back flow
control valve as in Figure 4, the disc is free to move from the set position to full open.
