Vigo Airport
Vigo is in Galicia on Spain's north eastern coast.Vigo airport, with
air passengers increasing every year (up to 1.1 million in 2005),
utilizes an Allied Telesis SwitchBlade in the core of their network
connected to AT-8648T/2SP Layer 3 switches.
The SwitchBlade Layer 3 chassis switch provides redundancy in
switching capacity and control, as well as power supply, to
guarantee high availability of network traffic. With AT-8648T/2SP
switches in the network, this all Layer 3 installation provides high
levels of scalability as well as protection against malicious attack and
network faults that could bring the entire network to a standstill.
Priority can be given to important traffic, while control of
bandwidth utilization can be configured to ensure the best use of
network resources.
