Run the UPTOMP utility.
Select MPS MULTIPROCESSOR PC from the list.
You receive a message saying that the upgrade is complete. Do not reboot the
system.

Reapply the Service Pack.

Reboot the system.
If you do not have the Windows NT 4.0 Resource Kit, perform one of the following
options:
Reinstall Windows NT 4.0.
Purchase the Windows NT 4.0 Resource Kit, and call Dell Server Support at
800-967-1068 for assistance with installing the UPTOMP utility.
If your system is running the Novell NetWare 4.1 x operating system, perform the
following steps to update the system:
1.
At the server console, type load install.
2.
Select MULTI CPU OPTIONS.
3.
Select SELECT A PLATFORM SUPPORT MODULE.
4.
Select MPS14.PSM.
5.
Down the server.
6.
Restart the server.
If your system is running the Novell NetWare 5.0 operating system, perform the
following steps to update the system:
1.
At the server console, type nwconfig.
2.
Select MULTI CPU OPTIONS.
3.
Select SELECT A PLATFORM SUPPORT MODULE.
4.
Select MPS14.PSM.
5.
Down the server.
6.
Restart the server.
