Step 1

Place 8" top plate (1) on top of the center

section and install two 7.5" bolts (2) with

3/8" washers and carriage bolts (3). Note

the carriage bolt at the rear of the boom

will need to be set in place on the 14" top

plate before it is installed in Step 2.

Step 2

Place 14" top plate (1) and bracket

assemblies (2) into position, then install

four 3/8" flange nuts (3).

Step 3

Install extension tube (4) onto bracket

assembly (2).

Step 4

Install boom bracket (5).

Install stainless steel set screw and jam

nut assembly (1).

NOTE: When installing the center section on the Hagie

Aluminum Boom, the guard that protects the wet

boom may deflect slightly; however, this will not affect

performance.
