Gas hob
The surfaces of the burners and pot
rests will become duller in the course
of time. This is completely normal and
does not indicate material
deterioration.
Clean the whole hob after every use
with a solution of warm water and a
little washing-up liquid applied with a
soft sponge.
Soften any stubborn soiling
beforehand.
Dry the hob thoroughly after every
damp cleaning to avoid limescale
residue.
Tip: Food which boils over on a hot hob
can cause discolouration of the burner
components. Remove any soiling and
salt and sugar splashes immediately.
Cleaning and care
Pot rests
Remove the pot rests.
Clean the pot rests in a dishwasher or
with a solution of warm water and a
little washing-up liquid applied with a
soft sponge. Soften any stubborn
soiling beforehand.
If required the rough side of a
washing-up sponge can be used.
Dry the the pot rests thoroughly with
a clean cloth.
