disposed of in an environmentally safe way.
5. GENERAL SAFETY RULES
Workplace safety
•
The work station should be kept clean and well
lit. Disorder or insufficient lighting can cause
accidents.
•
Do not use power tools in explosive atmos-
pheres with flammable liquids, gases or vapors.
•
Children and bystanders should not be allowed
to enter the workplace. Lack of concentration
may result in loss of control of the device.
Electric safety
•
Avoid contact with precipitation or moisture.
Water and moisture in the device increase the
risk of electric shock.
Safety of persons
•
Exercise caution when working. Be careful and
cautious in all actions. Do not start work when
you are tired, under the influence of drugs, alco-
hol or medicines. A moment of inattention can
cause serious injuries.
•
Wear personal protective equipment and safety
goggles.

Avoid unintentional switching on of the power
tool.
Proper operation of power tools
•
Do not overload the tool. Use the tool designed
for a given job. Properly selected tool will ensure
more efficient and safer work.

Do not use a tool with a defective switch. A tool
that cannot be controlled by means of a switch
is dangerous and must be repaired.
•
Keep the tool out of the reach of children when
not in use. Do not allow untrained people to
work. The tool can be dangerous in the hands of
an untrained person.
•
The tool must be properly maintained.
•
Use the tools and accessories according to the
instructions above. Consider the type and con-
ditions of work. Misuse of tools can lead to dan-
gerous situations.
Precautions on using cross line laser
While the product is in operation, be careful not to
expose your eyes to the emitting laser beam (red light
source). Exposure to a laser beam for an extended
time may be hazardous to your eyes.
• Do not stare directly into the beam or view directly
with optical instruments or set up the laser at eye
level.
• Do not disassemble the laser tool. There are no user
serviceable parts inside.
• Do not modify the laser in any way. Modifying the
tool may result in hazardous Laser Radiation Expo-
sure.
• Do not operate the laser around children or allow
children to operate the laser.
An exposure to the beam of a Class 2 laser is
considered safe for a maximum of 0.25 seconds.
Eyelid reflexes will normally provide adequate
protection.
