TROUBLE
Flux stops flowing while
welding.
Flux blows out of gun.

PROBABLE CAUSE
Restricted flux feed hose.
Restricted air hose or no air
supply to flux tank.
Pressure setting too low.
Flux chunks.
Wet or damp flux
Extended flux hose.
Pressure setting too high.
Clogged air vents in gun
nozzle.
REMEDY
Check flux hose and remove any kinks or ob-
structions.
Check air hose and remove any kinks; check
air supply to flux tank.
Readjust regulator pressure, and check flux
flow according to Section 3-6.
Remove flux from tank, and sift through 0.062
in (1.57 mm) mesh according to Section 3-5.
Remove flux from tank, and replace with dry
flux according to Section 3-5.
Readjust regulator pressure, and check flux
flow according to Section 3-6.
Readjust regulator pressure, and check flux
flow according to Section 3-6.
Clean air vents with compressed air.
