Precautions for Installation
All work related to the installation of this
product should be made by qualified serv-
ice personnel or system installers.
Use this product for indoor use only.
Do not expose this product to direct sunlight
for hours and do not install the product near
a heater or an air conditioner. Otherwise, it
may cause deterioration, discoloration and
malfunction. Keep this product away from
water.
Avoid installing in the following locations.
• Locations where it may get wet from rain
or water splash (not only indoor)
• Locations where a chemical agent is
used such as a swimming pool
• Locations subject to steam, oil smoke,
high humidity and excessive dust
• Locations near flammable gas or vapor
• Locations where radiation or x-ray emis-
sions are produced
• Locations where corrosive gas is pro-
duced
• Locations where it may be damaged by
briny air such as seashores
• Locations where the temperature is not
between –10 °C - +50 °C {14 °F - 122 °F}
• Locations subject to vibrations (This
product is not designed for on-vehicle
use.)
• Locations subject to condensation as the
result of severe changes in temperature
(The dome cover may be fogged or con-
densation may be formed.)

Be sure to remove this product if it is not
in use.
Before installation
• The mount bracket specified in page 21
shall be used to mount this product.
• The screws specified in page 21 shall be
used when this product and camera
mount bracket are mounted on a ceiling
or a wall. The screws to be used are not
supplied. Prepare the screws according
to the material, structure, strength and
other factors of the mounting area and
the total weight of objects to be mounted.
• The anchors, screws to be used and
installation surface shall be sufficiently
strong.
• The surface made of plasterboard or
wood shall not be selected for mounting
position
because
strength. If there is no choice other than
the surface of plasterboard or wood, the
mounting position shall be sufficiently
reinforced.
Mounting screws
Only the fixing screws are provided to fix the
camera with the provided camera mount
bracket. It is necessary to procure screws or
bolts to mount the camera. Prepare them
according to the material and strength of the
area where the camera is to be installed. The
screws and bolts must be tightened with an
appropriate tightening torque according to
the material and strength of the installation
area.
An impact driver shall not be used. Failure to
observe this may damage the screws.
Be sure to install the safety wire.
Make sure that the safety wire attached to the
camera mount bracket is securely connected
to the camera main body.
