Helpful Hints:
The Search Functions can operate without a second
video source.
The PIP feature displays video information sourced
from the "IV tuner as the main picture and video
information sourced from equipment connected to
theextemal video input as the PIP picture. Should
the PIP feature not operate in this manner perform
the following:
1.
With PIP _)FF" select IV Mode with the -IV/
VIDEO button (channel selected will display on
screen momentarily).
2.
With PIP"ON" select VIDEO Mode with the TV/
VIDEO button (Video source will display on
screen momentarily).
NOTE: If your Receiver has more than one video
input for external equipment, you must select the
video input that the equipment is connected to.
PiP (Picture in Picture) Button
This feature allows monitoring one channel while watch-
ing another when a second video source is connected
(such as a VCR) to the television.
NOTE: S-Video connection will also operate the PIP
feature

PIP
PIP Operation
1.
Turn VCR ON and select desired channel.
2.
Press the PIP button (television must be ON). The
PIP picture will appear at the position it was last dis-
played. The Main Picture Video Source and PIP
Video Source will display momentarily. Audio will be
that of main picture.
3.
Press the PIP button again to cancel PICTURE IN
PICTURE feature.
