Using the play timer
Turning the timer on and off
The timer comes on at the set time if"® PLAY" is displayed The
timer can be turned on and off by pressing [SHIFT] + [® PLAY]
Checking the timer
Press [CLOCK/TIMER]
(While the unit is on, press [CLOCK/TIMER] to select "©PLAY")
The timer conditions are shown in the following order
Start time-*Finish time-*Source-*Volume
Playing the unit after the timer is set
The unit can be used after the timer is set
Turn the unit off before the set time
• If you turn the unit off and on again while the timer is functioning, the
finish time setting will not be activated
• If the unit is on, the timer will not function The unit must be in the
standby mode
• If AUX is selected as the source, when the timer comes on, the
system turns on and engages AUX as the source If you want to
play a connected unit, set the other unit's timer to the same time
(See the other unit's instruction manual)
•The timer cannot be used to start program and random play

Press [SLEEP] to select "SLEEP OFP
To confirm the remaining time
While the timer is functioning
Press [SLEEP]
The remaining time is shown for about 5 seconds
To change the setting
Press [SLEEP] to display the remaining time, then press again to se¬
lect the required time
Using the timers together
The play and sleep timer can be used together
The sleep timer always has pnonty Be sure not to overlap timer set¬
tings
