Operation of the BioMetrixx S3 – Spider - Repeller:

Operation:

The BioMetrixx S3- Spider-Repeller can be powered by battery or via USB power supply. If you operated the BioMetrixx S3 by batteries

you need to insert 3 Micro (AAA) batteries into the battery compartment on the back of the BioMetrixx S3. We recommend using only

rechargeable batteries to power the BioMetrixx S3 as they can be charged by the USB power source inside the appliance. It is possible to

power the BioMetrixx S3 by using the USB connector only, if connected via USB cable to an USB power source. Please make sure that no

ordinary batteries are in the unit if powered by USB. We advise to remove rechargeable batteries too if connected longer then the rated

charging time to avoid overcharging (The package does not include USB cable, USB Power supply or batteries).

Start or stop the appliance:

The BioMetrixx S3 comes with an integrated ON/OFF switch. Put the ON/OFF switch towards the ON mark to start the appliance or

towards the OFF mark, to stop the appliance.

Frequency:

The BioMetrixx S3 generates a periodic changing high frequency sound between 7 kHz and 14 kHz with an effectiveness area of approx.

25 m²indoors or 3-5 m² outdoors. To make use of the maximum area of effectiveness there should be no obstacle in front of the application

(e.g. walls, furniture etc.). The appliance works best while positioned as close as possible to the area of protection.

Please note that we are not responsible for any damage caused due to faulty usage of the appliance or due to non

observance of the instruction manual. Please note the following things:

The appliance can only be used with the stated voltage!

Remove batteries out of the battery compartment if continues powered via USB!

We highly recommend using only rechargeable batteries to power the device to avoid possible damage through

unintended charging of ordinary batteries!

The dispose or surrender of the appliance to children and teenagers under the age of 14 years is prohibited!

The appliance is not appointed to people with reduced physical, psychological or sensory abilities. The appliance shall not be

surrendered to people with lacking or no experience as well as children, if they are not monitored or supervised properly, how the

appliance has to be handled!

General Instructions:

Electronic items are not suitable for children and Teenagers under the age of 14 years.

The packing as well as consumable parts have to de disposed environmentally friendly.

The product shall only be handed over to somebody else in conjunction with the instruction manual.

We reserve the right of technical or design changes of the appliance in Terms of product improvement even without prior notice.

Guarantee:

We grant a two year guarantee for this device which includes repair of all defects that were not caused by defective material or fabrication

mistakes. Guarantee does not apply on wearing parts. Since the manufacturer has no influence on correct usage and operation the

guarantee only applies on the completeness and proper condition of the appliance. We take no liability or guarantee for damages or

consequential damages caused in connection with this product. This especially applies if the device has been altered or repaired and

damage was caused by false operation or abuse.

Environmental protection note

At the end of its lifetime this appliance may not be disposed via the regular household waste. Instead it has to be disposed in a collection

place for recyclable electrical and electronic items. The materials used in this appliance can be recycled according to their labeling.

Through recycling and reusing materials you are contributing to the protection of our environment. Please ask your local governmental

administration office where to find your local responsible waste disposal centre.
