16 Basics Guide

Browser cookies are not shared and deleted when you close all incognito

tabs. Pages you view in incognito also won't appear in your browser history

except for files you download.

14. Keep in contact

Add a new contact

1. From the Home screen, tap

2. Tap

3. Tap the Name field, and then enter the contact name.

4. Select the Contact type. This determines which account the contact

will be stored.

5. Enter the contact information in the relevant fields.

6. Tap Save.

In the People app, you'll see your contacts from

your Google Account, Facebook®, and even your

Exchange ActiveSync® account if you're signed in to

these accounts on your phone. Aside from contact

details, you'll also see their status updates and

birthday reminders if they're your Facebook friends.

If you haven't signed in to your accounts yet, slide

open the Notifications panel, and then tap

Accounts & sync to sign in.
