New batteries are shipped partially charged. Before you start using your phone, it is
recommended that you install and charge the battery.
To charge the battery
1.
Connect the USB connector of the AC adapter to the sync connector at the bottom
of your phone.
2.
Plug in the AC adapter to an electrical outlet to start charging the battery.
6. Starting Up
After installing the battery and charging the battery, you can now power on and start
using your phone.
To turn on the power
Press the POWER button.
On first time use, the phone installs customized settings, and then displays the SIM Card
Changed screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to import the contacts to your device.
To turn off the power
1.
If the display is off, press the END/POWER button to turn the display back on.
2.
Press and hold the END/POWER button for a few seconds.
3.
Tap Yes when prompted.
