Start-up operation

5.1 Staff

After opening the terminal cover, there is the risk of con-

tact with live parts which can lead to serious or fatal inju-

ries.

For this reason, only qualified service personnel being

aware of this risk must perform the meter installation.

Install the meter according to the following steps.

Checking if the mains voltage complies with the

meter voltage and if the power to be captured is

smaller or equal as the maximum meter power.

These values are printed on the rating plate of

the meter.

Connecting the meter to the power supply accor-

ding to the wiring diagram which is attached to

the terminal block. Tighten the clamp screws

with a torque of < 2.3 Nm.

The display elements must be checked when the

meter is connected.

A small bar is shown in the LCD display, when

the load current is lager as the starting current

of the meter.
