Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use!
The vole repeller uses ultrasonic vibrations to effectively scare away voles and other rodents. The
ultrasound vibration is emitted every 30 seconds. The vole repeller has an effective range of 1900 m².
The sound is emitted in all directions but large obstructions will block the signal.
The vole repeller is powered with a solar panel and a rechargeable NiMh battery. The solar panel powers
the vole repeller during the day and charges up the battery at the same time, which then powers it during
the night. The vole repeller is therefore in operation 24 hours a day.
1.
Start by making a hole in a suitable position
in solid ground, and then fill the hole with the
loose soil.
2.
Remove the plastic plug (2) from the
transmitter unit. Pull the plug straight up.
3.
Connect the contact (1) from the transmitter
unit to the contact on the pointed tube.
4.
Fit the transmitter unit on the pointed tube.
5.
Carefully press the vole repeller into the
ground until the transmitter unit is about one
centimetre above the ground.
NOTE! Do not place in frozen or soggy ground.
Note that the compactness of the ground has a
considerable effect on the efficiency of the repeller.
