Power Save Mode

To minimize the power consumption, the Printer changes to Power

Save Mode in accordance with your setting automatically. If it's

under an error condition, then the Printer goes to power Saving

Mode in 10 seconds. Power Save Mode can be terminated by

performing following actions :

(1)

Receiving data through IrDA (Link securing)

(2)

Receiving data through RS232C

(3)

Closing the Media Compartment Cover

(4)

Pressing the FEED switch

(5)

Pressing the POWER switch

Consequent actions will follow each Power Save Mode

cancellation :

(1)

Receiving data through IrDA and RS232C

Starting data processing.

(2)

Closing the Media Compartment Cover

The Printer performs Top-of-Form (for label print mode)

then turning to normal mode.

The Printer performs Length Measurement (for label

print mode) if the FEED switch is pressed before

closing the Media Compartment Cover.

(3)

Pressing the FEED switch

Reprint the last print.

For label print mode, if no label has been printed prior

to this, the Printer feeds one label.

For receipt print mode, if no receipt has been printed

prior to this, the Printer feeds paper approx. 20mm in

length.
