Black Screen Function
This function can be used to superimpose a black screen over a presentation image.

Auto Sync Display Function (RGB mode only)
This function can be used to display a blue screen (in place of the Auto Sync Adjustment screen) during Auto
Sync Adjustment (see p. 16).

a. Blacking out the image
Press BLACK SCREEN on the projector or the
remote control to black out the image. "BLACK
SCREEN" appears on the screen. To return to
the presentation image press BLACK SCREEN
again.
• When "BLK SCRN DISP" on the "IMAGE ADJ." screen is
set to "OFF", the On-screen Display ("BLACK SCREEN")
will not appear during black screen. See the following
section.
Turning off the On-screen Display
The On-screen Display ("BLACK SCREEN") that
appears during black screen can be turned off. When
"BLK SCRN DISP" is set to "OFF", the On-screen
Display will not appear during black screen.
a. Displaying the "IMAGE ADJ." screen
Press MENU to display the menu screen. Press
ADJUSTMENT ∂/ƒ to select "IMAGE ADJ."
Then press ENTER to display the "IMAGE
ADJ." screen.
b. Turning on the black screen
On-screen Display override function
Press ADJUSTMENT ∂/ƒ to select "BLK
SCRN DISP". Then press ADJUSTMENT ß/©
to select "OFF".
To return to normal screen, press MENU.
a. Displaying the "IMAGE ADJ." screen
Press MENU to display the menu screen. Press
ADJUSTMENT ∂/ƒ to select "IMAGE ADJ."
Then press ENTER to display the "IMAGE
ADJ." screen.
b. Turning on the auto sync display
function
Press ADJUSTMENT ∂/ƒ to select "AUTO
SYNC DISP". Then press ADJUSTMENT ß/©
to select "ON". A blue screen will now appear
during Auto Sync Adjustment. (When "AUTO
SYNC DISP" is set to "OFF", the screen displays
the image during Auto Sync Adjustment.)
To return to normal screen, press MENU.
