Instruction Manual

Model No.: CH-3988R
This Charger designed to charge 2 or 4 AA or AAA size rechargeable
batteries for home or travel.
Please note that this charger must not be used for Alkaline, Carbon
Zinc, Lithium or any kind of battery other than Ni-MH. This charger
will charge your high capacity 2300mah batteries in 2 hours.
Charging time may vary based on different capacities.
Charger Descriptions:
Charging controlled by special intelligent MCU, supply
optimal charging current to prolong battery cycle life and
accelerate charging speed.
Interior switching mode adaptor could accept worldwide AC
power source (Input: AC 100V-240V 50/60Hz) and is suitable
for global travel.
Mechanical structure avoids size AA & AAA mix.
LED display for rapid charge / trickle charge / default mode.
Reverse-polarity protection.
2 or 4 batteries can be charged at any one time
DC car cord are available
Foldable US Plug.
Safety features

Usage Instructions:
Step 1. Load batteries into charger and select button
1.It can charge 2 or 4 pcs of AA/AAA NiMH rechargeable batteries.
AA and AAA batteries cannot be charged at the same time.
2.Put battery in the charger as per the"+" "-" indication.
3.If you want to charger 4 pcs AA/AAA batteries, put 4 pcs battery
in charger and slide the battery number button to the "4"
position.(Fig.1)
4.If your want to charge 2 batteries, put 2 pcs batteries in the left two
compartments and slide the battery number button to the "2"
position.(Fig.2)
Step 2. Plug in the charger
1.
Connect the charger input plug into an AC outlet.

Step 3. Charging start and LED indication
1.The red LED on the charger lights up to indicate the charger
power is on.
2. When you place your batteries into the charger, the red light
will continue to be lit.

Note①:Under fully charged status, the charger is in trickle mode,
but the batteries are ready for use and could be taken out.
②:The charger will not supply charging current under default
mode, the default mode is due to the below cases:
A.No battery put inside charger, or the "2/4" optional
button is not in correct position.
B.Battery connected with reverse-polarity.
Step 4. End of Charging:
1.When the red LED is solid and the green LED is blinking, it
indicates the batteries are fully charged,
could be taken out and are ready to use.

emove the charger from your AC outlet.
3. Follow the process from step 1 if you want to start another
charge.
Note: proposed working temperature for charger: 20℃-25 .

Important Safety Instructions:

1.
Before charging, read usage instructions.
2.
This charger is designed for indoor use only, do not expose to
damp or rain.
3.
This
charger
is
Nickel-metal-hydride(Ni-MH) battery only. Attempting to
charge any other types of batteries may cause personal injury
and damage.
4.
Do not mix AA/AAA, or Alkaline/Ni-MH, or different
capacity batteries together to charge.
5.
Recharge only one type of battery at each time.
6.
Remove adaptor AC input plug from AC mains when not in
use.
7.
Never use an extension cord or any attachment not
recommended by manufacturer, otherwise this may result in a
risk of fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
8.
Do not operate the charger if it has been subjected to shock or
damage. Take it to a qualified service-man for repair. Not
recommended for use by children.
9.
Do not disassemble the charger. Incorrect reassemble may
result in a risk of electric shock or fire. Unplug the charger
from outlet before attempting any maintenance of cleaning.
