Master PROFIBUS address
The following is stored in the diagnostic byte Master PROFIBUS address:
• The PROFIBUS address of the DP master that assigned the parameters to the DP slave.
• The PROFIBUS address of the DP master that has read and write access to the DP slave.
The master PROFIBUS address is found in byte 3 of the slave diagnostics.

Manufacturer ID
The manufacturer ID contains a code specifying the type of the DP slave.
The following table shows the structure of the manufacturer ID (bytes 4, 5).

Structure of station status 2 (byte 1)
1: The DP slave parameters need to be reassigned.
1: A diagnostics alarm is pending. The DP slave will not operate until the problem is elim-
inated (static diagnostics alarm).
1: The bit on the DP slave is always "1".
1: The watchdog is activated for this DP slave.
1: The DP slave has received the control command "FREEZE".
1: The DP slave has received the control command "SYNC".
0: Bit is always "0".
1: The DP slave is disabled, that is, it has been removed from the processing in progress.
