Anwendung
Das OLC-K1 wird besonders für Anla -
gen mit weitverzweigtem Rohr netz
empfohlen oder in Anwen dun gen, bei
denen sich größere Men gen Öl in die
Sauggasleitung oder in den Ver damp -
fer verlagern können (z. B. kritische
Strö mungs geschwin dig kei ten bei
Teillast).
Das OLC-K1 überwacht die Ölversor-
gung des Verdichters direkt im Be -
reich der Ölzufuhr zu den Lagerstel -
len. Im Vergleich mit den üblichen
Niveauwäch tern im Kurbelgehäuse ist
damit eine effektivere Schutzfunktion
gewährleis tet.
Vorgerüstete Auslieferung
Wenn die Prisma-Einheit des OLC-K1
vormontiert bestellt wurde, ist der
Verdichter als Ganzes im Werk auf
Druck festigkeit und Dicht heit geprüft
worden. In diesem Fall muss nur noch
die opto-elektronische Einheit aufge-
schraubt und elektrisch angeschlos-
sen werden. (Kapitel 4.2). Die nach -
träglichen Prü fungen auf Druck festig -
keit und Dicht heit sind in diesem Fall
nicht erforderlich.
Spezieller Lagerdeckel
Das OLC-K1 kann bei allen CE3- und
C3-Ver dichtern nicht in den Standard-
Lager deckel montiert werden. Dort ist
keine Anschlussmöglichkeit vorhan-
den. Diese Verdichter müssen mit
einem speziellen Lagerdeckel bestellt
werden.
Folgende Modelle sind betroffen:

Application
The OLC-K1 is rec om mended espe-
cially for systems with a widely exten -
ded pipe work, or for ap pli cations
where larger quantities of oil might
migrate into the suction gas line or the
evaporator (e. g. critical flow velocities
at part load).
The OLC-K1 monitors the oil supply
of the compressor directly at the shaft
intake to the bearings. A more effec-
tive protection function is guaranteed,
compared to usual oil level monitoring
devices in the crank case.
Delivery in a pre-setup state
If the prism unit of the OLC-K1 has
been ordered pre-assembled, the
compressor will have already been
tested as a whole with regard to
strength pressure and tightness. In
this case, it will only be necessary to
screw on the opto-electronic unit and
to connect it electrically (chapter 4.2).
Subsequent strength pressure and
tightness test will not be required in
this case.
Special bearing cover
On all CE3 and C3 compressors, the
OLC-K1 cannot be mounted into the
standard bearing cover since no pos-
sibility for connection is provided.
These compressors need to be
ordered with a special bearing cover.
This applies to the following models:
• 4FES-3Y .. 4CES-9(Y)
• 4FC-3.2(Y) .. 4CC-9.2(Y)
• 4FDC-5Y .. 4CDC-9Y
• 4FES-5.F1Y .. 4CES-9.F3Y

Application
Le OLC-K1 est recommandé particulière-
ment pour des systèmes avec un réseau
de tuyauterie très ramifié ou pour des
applications, dans lesquelles grandes
quantités d'huile peuvent migrer dans la
conduite de gaz aspiré ou dans l'évapora-
teur (par ex. vitesses d'écoulement cri-
tiques en charge partielle).
Le OLC-K1 surveille l'alimentation d'huile
du compresseur directement au point
d'injection vers les paliers. En comparai-
son avec des dispositifs de contrôle de
niveau habituels dans le carter, une fonc-
tion de protection plus effective est ainsi
garantie.
Livraison en état prêt au rééquipement
Si l'unité prisme du OLC-K1 a été com-
mandée préassemblée, l'ensemble du
compresseur aura déjà été testé à l'usine
par rapport à sa résistance à la pression
et à son étanchéité. Dans ce cas, il suffira
de visser l'unité opto-électronique et de
procéder à son raccordement électrique
(chapitre 4.2). Une vérification ultérieure
de la résistance à la pression et de l'étan-
chéité ne sera pas nécessaire dans ce
cas.
Couvercle de palier spécial
Sur tous les compresseurs de types CE3
et C3, il n'est pas possible de monter le
contrôleur OLC-K1 dans le couvercle
standard du palier, car celui-ci ne possè-
de aucune possibilité de raccordement
électrique. Ces compresseurs doivent
être commandés avec un couvercle spé-
cial du palier.
