f Installation Environment

When installing the projector, make sure there is a gap of at least 50 cm between the wall and the air exhaust

vent and the air intake vent.

When setting up multiple projectors, make sure there is a gap at least 50 cm between the projectors. Also,

make sure that the heat from the air exhaust vent does not go into the air intake vent.

Do not stack projectors directly on top of each other.

Notes on Portrait Projection

• An optional frame (ELPMB44) is required for portrait projection.

• When performing portrait projection, attach lamp units (ELPLP83 or ELPLP84 for portrait projection) on

both Lamp 1 and Lamp 2. If dedicated lamps are not used, the projector does not cool down correctly, and

it may cause a malfunction.

• Make sure you install the projector with the air intake vent facing down. If the air intake vent is facing up,

the projector does not cool down correctly, and it may cause a malfunction.

• Make sure that you install the projector with the air intake vent facing down and that there is a gap at least

10 cm between the projector and the floor and so on.
