The setup menu will be displayed.
e Press the ▼ or ▲ button to select
[FORMAT] and press the ENTER button.
r Press the ▼ or ▲ button to select
[FORMAT MEMORY CARD] and press the
ENTER button.
t Press the shutter release button.
The "FORMATTING" message is displayed
while the camera is formatting the SmartMedia
memory card.
When formatting is completed, the setup menu
will reappear. Turn the mode dial to choose
another mode.
