how to troubleshoot them:
Software-forced crash (SIG=23)

In the example above, the line card has crashed due to a "software-forced crash" and, as the name suggests, a software
exception has caused the reload. Once you have determined the cause and collected the necessary output, you can
check for a bug in your Cisco IOS software release using the
Check the Current Status of the Line Card
When you have determined whether the problems are system errors in the log or an actual crash, you must check the
current status of the line card to see whether it has recovered from the fault that has occurred. In order to identify the
status of individual line cards, you can either examine the Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) located on the front of the
card, or issue the show led command. Here is a sample output:
