Caution
Always handle the clock card by the carrier edges and handle; never touch the clock card's components
or connector pins. (See
Figure 3-1
Online Insertion and Removal
The Cisco uBR7246 VXR supports online insertion and removal (OIR), however, the clock card cannot
be "hot-swapped" in the chassis. You must power down the Cisco uBR7246 VXR when removing and/or
replacing a clock card. Removing the clock card from the chassis before powering off will cause the
router to crash.
