Installing the Printer

Follow the steps described below to install the printer on the PS-Cover.

Turn off the printer and all the devices connected to the printer, and then

disconnect all the cables connected to the printer.

Turn over the printer.

Attach the connector cover (6 in illustration G) to the printer.

Note:

To detach the connector cover with the PS-Cover installed, pull the connector cover

toward the back while pushing both sides of the cover inward.

Place the printer and the PS-Cover side by side, and connect the DC cable to the

power connector (5 in illustration G) of the printer. (See illustration G.)

Connect other cables, and pass them out through the cable exits of the connector

cover. The connector cover has a cable exit on the back and also on both sides

respectively.

Turn over the PS-Cover, and mount it on the printer while setting the DC cable

inside the connector cover.

CAUTION:

When turning over the printer, make sure the DC cable set in the PS-Cover is not

loosened.

Make sure the cables are not pinched between the printer and the PS-Cover.

Insert the 4 provided screws in the screw holes, and tighten the screws. (See

illustration I.)

Connect the power cable to the connector of the power unit.

Turn over the printer. (See illustration J.)
