2.4 Signal Cable Connection

The monitor has an built-in signal cable with a male 15-pin mini D-sub connector. Attach this

connector to the female 15-pin receptacle of your video adapter. Be cautious when inserting

the cable properly into the graphics card adapter. If the cable does not seem to fit, it may be

facing the wrong direction. Turn the cable over and try to match the shape of the connector

with the graphics adapter. Secure the connection with the screws on the connector.

2.5 Power On

Power on both the monitor and your computer. There will be a short delay (approximately 2

seconds) before the image appears. After the monitor is powered ON, the LED lights up in

green. If the LED flashs in orange, check the video cable connection.

Adjusting the picture is necessary to obtain the best visual display. A complete description of

the control functions is covered in the next section.

Note: To minimize eye fatigue, we suggest you allow a minimum viewing distance of 18

inches.
