Play from an external device

You can also listen to an external audio device
through the link device.

Connect a pair of RCA audio cables (red/
white; not supplied) to:
• the AUX IN L/R sockets on the back
of the link device.
• the audio output sockets on the
external device.

Start play on the external audio device and
adjust volume.
» You can hear music from the audio
system connected to the wireless Hi-Fi
link device.

Use the controls on your audio player to
control music play.

To switch to the external audio source
manually:

Run Philips AirStudio on your iOS or
Android smartphone or tablet.

Tap Services -> Philips AW1000.

Tap AUX-IN to select the external audio
source.
Tip
•
You can also press SOURCE on AW1000 repeatedly to
select the corresponding audio source directly.
