6-1. Outline

This up-converter circuit performs the double speed
conversion which converts an interlace scanning signal of
approx. 15.75 kHz horizontal frequency in NTSC system
into a motion adaptable sequential scanning signal of
approx. 31.5 kHz.

6-2 . Circuit Description

Fig. 6-2-1 shows the block diagram of this circuit.
6-2-1. Input Process Section
This section performs the gain adjustment and frequency
band width limitation of the input signal to the A/D
c o n v e r t e r c h a r a c t e r i s t i c s .
Among the video signal of Y (luminance), V, U (color)
signals entered from pins 11, 15 and 13 of PV001, Y
signal passes through the 6 dB amplifier and low pass
filter and enters pin 186 of QX300, motion adaptable
sequential scanning signal IC.
V, U (color) signals also pass thorough the amplifiers and
low pass filters in the same way as Y signal and enters
pins 195 and 14 of QX300.
