Dolby Surround level adjustment procedure
Use SURROUND MODE switch to select DOLBY SURROUND.
. Turn on front speakers and rear speakers.
. Select a monaural source (such as AM radio).
. Set balance and rear level to preset positions.
* Press BALANCE L and R switches together.
» Press REAR LEVEL
+ and — switches together.
. Adjust MASTER VOLUME to.a suitable listening level.
§. Turn off front speakers. (Leave rear speakers on.)

VCR NOISE FILTER
SIMULATED STEREO
This function transforms monaural signals into simulated stereo sound.
Use it when you wish to experience a sense of stereo presence when
listening to AM broadcasts, or VCR and other monaural signal sources.
NOTE:
The simulated stereo function can also be used with stereo sound
sources, but it will result in an effect somewhat different trom the normal
Stereo sound.
