Set the AUDIO/VIDEO switch to AUDIO.

(1) Operation buttons

(TRACK SEARCH) button:

Returns to the beginning of the track currently playing.

mp! (TRACK SEARCH) button:

Advances to the next track.

(STOP) button:

Stops playback.

i =©6 (PAUSE) button:

Pause.

(PLAY) button:

Selects playback.

RANDOM

button:

The tracks on the disc are selected and played back one

time each in computer-selected RANDOM

order.

BEST button:

This can be used with file type CD players featuring a

BEST function. Simply press to store your favorite tracks

in memory for future playback.

Some file-type CD players cannot be controlled using

this button.

A simple way to store your favorite tracks in memory for

future playback is to press the BEST button during play-

back of the tracks. Up to 25 tracks can be stored in the

"best memory."

DISC SELECT (-, +) buttons:

Use to select a disc with a file-type CD player.

Only the + button may be used to select the DISC No. (1

to 6) for a multi CD player, or used to select DISC I/U for

a twin-tray CD player.

NOTE:

Some multi CD players cannot be controlled using this button.

@ CD POWER button

Switches CD player power ON/OFF.

(CASSETTE DECK OPERATION]

Set the AUDIO/VIDEO switch

to AUDIO.

DECK |, I] button:

Switches DECK I and DECK II.

When using a single cassette deck, select DECK II.

(PLAY) button:

Selects reverse playback.

(PLAY) button:

Selects forward playback.

<4-q, ee (FF) button:

Rapidly advances the tape in the direction of the arrows.

(STOP) button:

Stops the tape transport.

(PAUSE) button:

Pause

Switches cassette deck power ON/OFF.
