COMPACT DISC PLAYBACK FUNCTIONS

TO CANCEL THE REPEAT MODE

To cancel the repeat mode press the CLEAR

key.

@ During A-B repeat...

After playing

up to point B, the player continues

playing past point B without returning to point A.

@ During track repeat...

After playing to the end of the track currently being

repeated, the player advances to the next track and

continues playback.

e@ During side repeat...

After finishing playing the last track on the disc, the

disc stops rotating.

Pressing the REPEAT (B) key also causes cancellation.

(Refer to "SELECTION OF REPEAT MODE WITH THE

REPEAT KEY".)

The initiation of scan, track search

(skip selection),

search, and track program play operation also result in

cancellation of repeat mode. (Side repeat is not can-

celled by scan operation.)

ABOUT THE REPEAT DISPLAY

During the time the player is searching for the starting

point during

repeat mode, the word

'REPEAT'

displayed on the screen, and not the word "SEARCH".

The single REPEAT (B) key, can be used to specify and

cancel various repeat modes.

Obtain confirmation

by observing the indicators on

the front panel of the player, and enjoy the repeat

mode of your choice.

The repeat mode selections which can be made using

the REPEAT (B) key, are shown in the figure below.

Please make use of this for specifying and changing

the repeat mode.
