POWER REQUIREMENTS

2.1. General

The description of the front and back panels of the equipment can be found on the Section 5.

Please, unfold the graphic cart to obtain a general view of equipment controls and its connections.

2.1.1. Before connecting the equipment to mains

Caution: Do not connect the equipment before the voltage selection has been checked, and

the appropiate voltage selected (as described in Section 2.1.2.). It is important to carefully follow the

indicated procedures on this section before connecting and turn the equipment on.

2.1.2. Voltage selection

The AM-03 is prepared to operate with voltages between 110V and 220 V. Please, select the

appropiate voltage for your area. If the 110 V AC is selected, it is necessary to replace the fuse

delivered with the equipment (200 mA), with the 400mA, that can be found in the plastic bag in which

this manual is contained. In order to do so, proceed as follows: pull out the fuse box located underneath

the unit's mains connector socket (fig. 2), replace the existing fuse for the one already mentioned. The

fuse box has enough space to keep a spare fuse.

Note: The equipment is delivered from factory with the voltage selected to 220 V AC, and its

corresponding fuse of 200 mA.

Note: The AM-03 mains cable is delivered with the european normative mains plug. In some

countries, it could be necessary to replace this plug with one that complies with the local standards.

If this could be your case, please, replace the plug before operation.
