Setting the Drying Temperature

If your dryer has multiple heat settings:

A High/Heavy heat setting may be used for drying

■

heavyweight items such as towels and work clothes.

A Medium High/Normal heat setting may be used for drying

■

medium-weight items such as sheets, underwear, permanent

press fabrics, and some knits.

A Medium/Casual/Perm Press heat setting may be used for

■

drying medium to light-weight items such as shirts, blouses,

and dresses.

USING YOUR DRYER

Clean the lint screen

Clean the lint screen before each load. Pull the lint screen

straight up. Roll lint off the screen with your fingers. Do not

rinse or wash screen to remove lint. Push the lint screen

firmly back into place.

A Medium Low/Quick Dry heat setting may be used for drying

1 or 2 items for a short drying time.

A Low/Delicate heat setting may be used for drying small

■

loads and light-weight items such as lingerie and some knits.

Use a no heat (Fluff Air or Air Dry [depending on models])

■

setting for foam, rubber, plastic, or heat-sensitive fabrics.

Line dry bonded or laminated fabrics.

NOTE: If you have questions about drying temperatures for

various loads, refer to the care label directions.

Load the dryer

Place laundry in the dryer. Close the door.

Do not tightly pack the dryer; clothes should be able to

tumble freely.
