Installation
WARNING
Turn off gas to the appliance and make sure it is cool prior to conducting service.
1. The firebacks should be installed while
finalizing the installation (before
installing the logs). Remove the glass
frame.
2. Remove the 8 fireback clips inside the
firebox. These clips have keyhole slots
that allow them to be removed without
removing the screws (see illustration to
the right).
Black Enamel Firebacks Only
Remove the rear log shelf. Loosen the 2 screws that secure the shelf to the unit, slide the shelf backward
slightly and lift to remove. After the rear firebacks are in place, replace the log shelf.
