6. Before you select the Sets Build key, does the Scan

System need to be in Copy Mode or Scan Mode?

Go to the XEROX WIDE FORMAT COPY SYSTEM User

Guide and read the "Clearing the scanned images"

section (Check the Index for the page number).

7. Press the C/CA key. Follow the procedure in the user

guide to clear all images.

NOTE: Normally, when a document is scanned,

two files are created and stored on the hard disk

in the controller. A small preview image is stored

as a JPEG file, while the high-resolution image is

stored as a TIFF Group 6, PDF, or CALS1 file.

When an image is retrieved using the DRT, only

the high-resolution image is retrieved. If the

Create Preview option is disabled, then the

preview file is not created.
