Placing a Call
1. Press the TALK button and dial the number you wish to call.
2. To end the call, press the TALK button or place the handset in the base.
Answering a Call
If the handset is out of the base, press the TALK button. If the handset is in the
base, simply life the handset to answer the call.
Activating Digital Clarity Power™
To increase the volume and clarity of your call, press the BOOST button on
the side of the telephone handset. Then use the volume dial to customize the
volume to your desired level.
Tone Control
Adjusting the TONE switch allows you to customize your hearing experience.
Since we all have different hearing needs, we suggest exploring each setting
to find the one most comfortable for you.
Channel Operation
The C4210 automatically selects the clearest of 40 channels each time it is
used. Because the 2.4GHz frequency is used for other types of devices, such
as microwaves and wireless routers, interference is possible. If interference
develops on the line, press the CHANNEL button to find a clearer signal.
Caller ID and Phonebook Operations
The C4210 is compatible with Caller ID service, available from your phone
company. The C4210 is also equipped with a Phonebook feature that allows
you to program frequently dialed numbers. For details on the Caller ID and
Phonebook functions, please refer to page 31 in your C4210 User Guide.
Handset Ringer
Set the switch marked Ringer OFF/VIBE/ON on the side of the handset. When
set to VIBE, the handset will ring and vibrate to indicate incoming calls.
