Visually inspect the assist handle and mounting bracket, and check for loose hardware on a
monthly basis. Tighten loose hardware as stated in the installation instructions.
NOTE: Assist devices are made for right or left side of bed as viewed from the foot of
the bed. The latch on both assist devices must face toward the center of the bed, so they
operate properly.
