Contents and countermeasures
The sustain pedal solenoid continually requiries excessive
drive voltage to function. → Check sustain pedal acoustic
adjustment
The soft/shift pedal solenoid continually requiries exces-
sive drive voltage to function. → Check soft/shift pedal
acoustic adjustment
Data communication between emitter and receiver is not
done when LEDs are ON. → Check each connecter
Data communication between emitter and receiver is not
done when LEDs are OFF. → Check each connecter
The acoustic adjustment of the soft pedal is not correct →
Check pedal adjustment.
Sustain pedal movement and operation is not within
acceptable range. → Check the acoustic pedal adjustment
and pedal sensor board.
Soft/shift pedal movement and operation is not within
acceptable range. → Check the acoustic pedal adjustment
and pedal sensor board.
100V of power to Keyboard and pedal drive OFF.
Either the sustain or soft/shift solenoid thermostat has acti-
vated because the solenoid become too hot. → Check
pedal acoustic adjustments or replace the broken thermo-
stat .
100V (120V for Grand) of power to Keyboard and pedal
drive OFF.
One or more key drive transistors have become too hot and
the protect circuit has activated. → Check the drive board
