Immobilizer interface
When possible use valet key for key wrap. If a blade key is used or
from OEM key (the OEM remote may differ from the models shown in the illustrations).

Method 2: Immobilizer interface using 556UXL
556UXL is sold SEPARATELY.
Note: The discontinued 556U or 556UW can
still be used for the installation.
Common Relay 2: Yellow/Red: 11
NO Relay 2: Brown/Red: 12
IMPORTANT!:
Not all OEM remotes can be inserted in 556UXL because of their size.
Make sure the key will fit, otherwise it is recommended to use a different method.

column, where the ignition
switch would normally be.

Make 4-6 loops
and place them
around the front
of the plastic body
of the vehicle's
coded key.
Remove battery from
OEM Remote Control
The loop must be
positioned over or
under the key but
not around it.

Move 556UXL loop as close to the
front of ignition cylinder (OEM
Immobilizer Receiver) as possible.
Test and secure mounted loop
before reassembling the vehicle.
