About Yahoo! Messenger for BlackBerry devices
You can use Yahoo!® Messenger for BlackBerry® devices to chat with other Yahoo! Messenger users from your device. To use Yahoo!
Messenger for BlackBerry devices, you must have a Yahoo! ID and the Yahoo! Messenger for BlackBerry devices application installed on
your device. To get a Yahoo! ID, visit edit.yahoo.com/config/eval_register. For more information about Yahoo! Messenger, visit
messenger.yahoo.com.
Sign in to Yahoo! Messenger for BlackBerry devices
1.
On the Home screen or in the application list, click Yahoo! Messenger.
2. Type your Yahoo!® ID and password.
3. Click Sign In.
Note: If you cannot remember your Yahoo! ID or password, visit edit.yahoo.com/config/eval_forgot_pw.
To sign out, press the Menu key. Click Sign Out.
Change your nickname
1.
On the Contact list screen, press the Menu key.
2. Click My Details.
3. Change your nickname.
Change your display picture
1.
On the Contact list screen, press the Menu key.
2. Click My Details.
3. Press the Menu key.
4. Click Change Display Image.
5. Click a picture.
6. Center the picture in the box.
7. Press the Menu key.
8. Click Crop and Save.
Delete Yahoo! Messenger for BlackBerry devices
1.
In the device options, click Advanced Options.
2. Click Applications.
3. Highlight the Yahoo!® Messenger for BlackBerry® devices application.
4. Press the Menu key.
