Inspection of Encoder signal
Use the F70 camera body and the inspection software for lens encoder signals, and make an inspection by displaying the
encoder signals on PC monitor.
How to inspect
● Start the inspection software for lens encoder signals, and select "1. READING OF LENS ENCODER SIGNAL".
Then follow the instructions as displayed.
● Encoder signal
When the zoom and distance scale rings are set in position, the encoder signals (1-3) should be as follows:

Closest distance position
In case the encoder signal values are different from the above, the following causes should be considered.
● Wrong position of attaching the brush
● Defective brush or FPC
● Dirty encoder pattern of FPC
● Wrong position of attaching FPC
