Disconnect factory 16-pin XM radio plug (See Fig. 4) from radio (See Fig.
4.
3/3A). To disconnect, pull back blue locking tab, then press and pull black
tab to release plug. (See Fig. 4)
Warning:
GM radios have multiple 16-pin connectors "keyed" to avoid
connecting errors. The 16-pin plug included is "Keyed" to fit only the XM
connector on factory radio (See Fig.3)
When disconnecting factory plug, do not pull wires. Grasp plug to
remove.
Connect factory 16-pin plug to adapter harness 16-pin connector

Secure Black (ground) wire to vehicle chassis or remove one radio

Warning for vehicles with Bose amplifier:
turned on by the radio ON/OFF button, but if your vehicle has a BOSE
system you must disconnect (twist) clear red wire plug from harness
and connect extension wire included in kit (See Fig. 7). Connect red wire
to an alternate 12V accessory supply in your vehicle.
