Fill with fresh cold water

Select either the 1-cup

or the 2-cup filter

Place your large

container beneath the

espresso brewing head

PREPARING FOR USE

Replace the full

water reservoir

Position the filter handle

on the espresso

brewing head

Once the ready light turns on, turn the

operation dial clockwise to activate the

espresso function. Make sure all the

water runs through the machine.

Begin preheating by

shifting the Preheat switch

to the espresso setting.

The "Ready" light will

illuminate when the water

is the correct termperature

Lock the filter handle

into place by turning it

to the right--use the

arrows on the

corresponding parts to

help them easily fit
