Cause
No fuel.
Engine switched off.
Spark plug fouled.
Engine cold.
Engine flooded.
Major Fault
Engine speed too slow.
Drive belt tension loose.
Air filter blocked
Drive failure.
Vibrator failure.
Lack of lubrication.
Plate in direct contact with material.
Over compaction.
Layer thickness too deep.
Moisture content too high or too low.

Remedy
Open fuel tap.
Fill fuel tank.
Switch engine on.
Clean and reset plug gap.
Close choke.
Honda, open choke, fully open throttle, pull
recoil starter until engine fires.
Hatz, move speed control to stop, pull recoil
starter 5 times then repeat start procedure.
Contact Agent or Altrad Belle.
Set engine speed control to fast.
Adjust belt tension.
Clean or renew air filter.
