OPERATION

5.4 Protection function at high humidity (PFT28)

The PFT28 has a special sensor protection function, which will be activated at a high hu-

midity range.

In case a relative humidity rises to 98% an additional heating element will be activated. The

heating element heats up the sensor, till the humidity drops below 93% of relative humi-

dity. At this point the heating element switchs off automatically. Due to higher current

consumption, we recommmend a voltage supply of minimum 22 Vdc.

The PFT series contains no wearing or consumable parts. Servicing is not required. On

request, Arthur Grillo GmbH offers an annual calibration with factory certificate.
