TRANSPORT
Warnings
:
The ITO pushchair should be used only for
forward facing seating in motor vehicles. The
ITO should be used only as indicated in the
manufacturer's instructions. ITO is crash-tes-
ted using a forward-facing position and a pelvic
harness. Accessories such as vests and har-
nesses must only be used for positioning and
not as safety belts during vehicular transpor-
tation. A clear zone of 65cm (25") should exist
in front of the child to prevent the child's head
from contacting anything in a crash. Auxiliary
equipment attached to the ITO should be ef-
fectively secured, or removed and secured in
the vehicle during transit, to prevent it from bre-
aking free and causing injury to vehicle occu-
pants in a crash.
The ITO must not be changed, as this may af-
fect performance in the event of a crash.
The basket must always be fitted to the chair.
The attachment straps must be fitted between
the cross-tubes when the chair is being trans-
ported in a car with a child in the chair (31).

Warnung:
ITO darf in Kraftfahrzeugen nur nach vorn ge-
richtet positioniert werden. ITO darf nur gemäß
den Herstellervorgaben genutzt werden. ITO
wurde in Crashtests mit nach vorn gerichteter
Stellung sowie einem Hüftgurt geprüft. Zube-
hörteile wie Westen und Gurte sollten nur zur
Positionierung, jedoch nicht als Sicherheitsg-
urte beim Transport in Fahrzeugen verwendet
werden. Vor dem Kind muss ein Freiraum von
65 cm vorhanden sein, um bei einem Unfall
Kopfverletzungen zu verhindern. Optionale
Ausstattung an ITO muss bei einem Trans-
port in Kraftfahrzeugen verzurrt oder entfernt
werden, um ein versehentliches Lösen sowie
Verletzungen von Fahrzeuginsassen bei einem
Unfall zu verhindern. Es dürfen keine Modifika-
tionen an ITO vorgenommen werden, da an-
dernfalls die Produktleistung bei einem Unfall
beeinträchtigt werden kann.
Der Korb muss immer am Buggy montiert sein.
Es müssen Befestigungsgurte zwischen den
Querrohren angebracht sein, wenn sich beim
Transport in einem Fahrzeug ein Kind im Bug-
gy befindet (31).
