5. MAINTENANCE AND CARE

Before any maintance please pull out the mains plug from the socket!

Changing the filter bag

The dust container lid can be unlocked easily by lifting the lever.

Primarily you have to pull the filter bag with the filter cartridge out

of the casing.

With the strap at the cardboard disc gently pull the filter bag out

of the filter cartridge. Now you can close the filter bag and easily

dispose of in domestic wate. Unfold a new filter bag and open the

inlet for the dust. The cardboard disc (with strap facing up) must be

put into the lower lug of the filter cartridge and afterwards raise it,

until the cardboard disc also locks into the upper lug. The filter car-

tridge with the filter bag can now replaced and pushed down into

the appliance. Please close the dust container lid. If using a durable

filter bag you also need the filter cartridge. The covering disc must

be put into the lower lug of the filter cartridge and afterwards raise

it until the cardboard disc also locks into the upper lug. The filter

cartridge with durable filter can now replaced as described above.

To empty the durable filter bag take the filter cartridge with du-

rable filter out of the appliance. The durable filter is easy to open

at the buttom (hook and loop fastener) and the content can be

diposed of in domestic waste.

The durable filter is washable.

Attention! Do not insert a wet or moist durable filter into the stick

vacuum cleaner.

Changing the motor protection filter

Open the dust container lid and remove the filter holder

with the clogged motor protection filter.

Then insert a new motor protection filter and the filter holder

in reverse order.

Changing the exhaust filter

The exhaust filter assures you an additional filtering of the exhaust

air. Gently press the latching button of the axhaust grille down

into the direction of suction opening and take off the exhaus grille.

Now you can change the exhaust fiter and lock the grille after-

wards.

Attention! Please change the motor protection filter and exhaust

filter when you used up one filter pack.
