DAKOTA ENGINES

3.7-LITER MAGNUM

The standard engine for Dakota

generates a solid 210 horsepower @

5,200 rpm and 235 lb-ft of torque @

4,000 rpm, with reliability proven

through extensive testing and use.

4.7-LITER FLEX FUEL V8

The new engine for 2008 Dodge Dakota

enables you to utilize either conventional

gasoline or E85 ethanol — or any

combination of the two. This engine

produces more power than the previous

version — 302 horsepower @ 5,650 rpm,

and 329 lb-ft of torque @ 3,950 rpm —

with no compromise in displacement.
